Parlamentarians Meeting

INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF PARLIAMENTARY AGAINST THE IMPERIALISM, FOR SOLIDARITY AND WORLD PEACE

 In the mark of the XIV Congress of WOMEN INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRATIC FEDERATION, for the first time held in Latin America, in Caracas, capital of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, homeland of the liberator Simón Bolívar, where today grows a beautiful revolutionary process in which women assume a fundamental role, in the construction of project of a country sovereign, independent, solidary and with equity and gender equality, THE PARLIAMENTARIANS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD PARTICIPANTS TO THIS GREAT CONGRESS, joint in the National Assembly, on Tuesday April 10, we make a call the people of the world, and especially, to women to unify our wills and organizations, in order to mobilize us with determination in the whole planet Earth with the purpose of:  

• To the women who are donors of life, love, we agree to join in the mark of this XIV WIDF Congress, in human net for peace, solidarity and against the imperialism, for defeating their belligerent politics, of genocide, which violate the life and the atmosphere, and therefore, contrary to humanity and nature.

• To promote the creation of a parliamentarian net as permanent forum in WIDF, deliberative and active that promotes the cause of peace, solidarity, development, cooperation and the respect of human rights among nations, people, ethnic groups and communities on the planet, as effective means of eradicating the scourges of hunger, illiteracy, endemic illnesses, criminal and social violence, war, modern slavery, pornography and woman's sexual exploration, of girls and boys, of adolescents and the consumption of narcotic substances, as potencies that promote the capitalism and its imperialistic superior phase.

• To greet the important democratic changes of protagonist participation of the people who lives the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela under President Chavez’s leadership, which provides solidary social policies through the humanitarian missions that look for overcoming the exclusion and poverty produced by the neoliberal capital.

 We declare ourselves solidary with the Bolivarian Revolution bound for the XXI century socialism, in this fifth birthday of the oligarchic coup d'état against President Chavez’s government, which counted with the North American government's direct intervention, stroke in which numerous Venezuelans were murdered, wounded, stopped and violated their human rights. We express our solidarity with the heroic people from Venezuela and their women who knew how to defeat the Fascist imperialist stroke through the mobilized popular power, preserving the peace and the democracy.
